Aprender inglés es una habilidad importante para los docentes de centros educativos, ya que les ayuda a preparar mejor a sus estudiantes para el futuro. En la actualidad, el inglés es una de las principales lenguas de comunicación internacional, y es de vital importancia que los estudiantes aprendan a hablar, leer y escribir inglés con fluidez.
Al dominar el inglés, los estudiantes tendrán una mayor probabilidad de éxito en la educación superior, así como en el campo laboral.
Los docentes pueden utilizar el inglés como herramienta para enseñar a los estudiantes sobre diversos temas, y también para proporcionarles acceso a contenido en línea en inglés.
Además, los docentes también pueden utilizar el inglés para comunicarse con sus colegas de todo el mundo.
• You will be able to express your opinion and hold discussions with native speakers on a fairly wide variety of topics with a level of fluency and spontaneity that makes communication possible without strain.
• You will be able to understand people speaking English on radio and television, and understand the main points of complex pieces of writing.
• You will be able to understand and write, clear and detailed text on a wide range of subjects, both concrete and abstract, including technical discussions in your field of specialisation, and express advantages and disadvantages of different points of view.
• You will be able to describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes and ambitions, and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans. Speaking interaction and production The student will be able to:
• Understand spoken language, live or broadcast, on both familiar and unfamiliar topics.
• Follow extend speech and complex lines of argument.
• Use the language fluently, accurately and effectively on a wide range of general, academic, vocational or leisure topics, marking clearly the relationships between ideas.
• Give their opinion and explain advantages and disadvantages. Listening The student will be able to:
• Understand extended speech and lectures and follow even complex lines of argument provided the topic is reasonably familiar.
• Understand most TV news and current affairs programmes.
• Understand the majority of films in standard dialect. Reading The student will be able to:
• Identify the content and relevance of news items, articles and reports on a wide range of topics.
• Scan quickly through long and complex text, locating relevant details. Writing The student will be able to:
• Write clear, well-structured texts of complex subjects, underlining the relevant salient issues, expanding and supporting points of view at some length
• Write clear, detailed descriptions of real or imaginary events and experiences marking the relationship between ideas in clear connected text.
• Write letters conveying degrees of emotion and highlighting the personal significance of events and experiences.
